FAQ’s for Naks: 580 series

Problem

In the 580 series meters, a common problem is the level meters will hover somewhere at -20 dB or 0 dB. The meters will switch between those levels intermittently.

Cause:

There are 7 caps in the general area of the level meter connector - C117, C119, C120, C217, C219, C220 & C326. Changed all 7 and no more level meter problem!  With a quick check between each cap replacement, it was C326 that was causing the problems.
